After using natural and organic products for a while, your skin becomes ready for a more advanced routine.
Don’t exhaust your skin trying each product you hear of, or blindly following bloggers' ads. Instead of layering your skin with unnecessary products, simply know what your skin needs.
Wash your face twice a day with a suitable cleanser for oily skin. You should wash your face daily — once in the morning and once at night. This helps clear your pores from dirt and dead skin cells. It also removes extra oils produced on the surface of the skin. Over-washing your face, however, will dry out your skin, which will increase sebum production, leaving your face greasy. Ladies, we don’t want that!
Wide pores are what every oily-skinned woman complains about. Therefore, never skip toning your skin with the appropriate toner. After cleansing your face, your pores get a little wide, so toning helps reduce their size. Skipping this step might result in acne.
Note: Rose Water and Peppermint Water are the best toners!
After toning your face it's always good to use any serum to enhance your skin texture. You can use up to three different serums. For better results, apply the serum on wet skin.
Note: This step is optional. Feel free to skip it if your skin doesn’t need it.
Never skip your moisturizer! Moisturizing your face is necessary and helps balance sebum production which prevents breakouts. Using a good, light moisturizer is great for oily skin. It leaves your skin glowy and healthy. Avoid moisturizers with greasy textures because they will block your pores, and you won’t like the results. More so, it feels uncomfortable for oily-skinned ladies to have such a heavy formula on their skin.
Applying a mineral-based sunscreen that contains zinc and titanium before going out in the morning is essential for your face. Many ladies think that sunscreen makes their skin greasy but on the contrary, it aids sebum absorption and protects the skin from pigmentation.
6-EYE CREAM (NIGHT)
If you suffer from morning puffy eyes, wrinkles, bags, or dark circles, night-eye cream is the solution for you, as it gives your eyes a fresh look in the morning. It’s important to apply eye cream at night for better absorption.
Now that you are fully aware of what your skin needs, you can always switch between organic and chemical routines!
