There are too many good ingredients for oily, acne exposed skin. We can write many blogs about those ingredients, but things are already complicated for oily skin, and I do not want to overcomplicate things. Thus I will only highlight the top five ingredients that you can easily find in skin products.
It's an alpha hydroxy acid extracted from sugar cane, and it helps improve skin texture! That’s why it's a really popular ingredient in oily skin peeling products.
This is the best ingredient for acne treatment because it destroys bacteria, which treats current acnes and prevents further break out.
Tea Tree Oil
I personally love Tea Tree oil. Not only does it dissolve oils from the skin and work as a great anti-bacterial, acne won’t dare to reappear on your face!
It can also be used as the most effective hair mask to eliminate dandruff (add 3-5 drops according to your hair intensity to your usual oil-hair bath).
For your hair: Remember to dilute tea tree oil with another oil. It works well with Coconut and Jojoba oil.
You can use tea tree oil directly on pimples: add one drop of the oil on a cotton pad and leave it on the pimple for an hour or more. It might sting or burn... that’s normal! But if it’s unbearable you can rinse it.
The only comment I have about tea tree oil is the scent… it might not be likable for many women because it’s very strong, which is why it might cause a sting or burn.
Using hyaluronic acid is the best way to naturally boost skin moisture. It's great for fresher and younger skin texture because hyaluronic reduces wrinkles and lines.
This is a very common ingredient in oily skin cleansers. It strips off the outer layer of the skin which opens clogged pores and easily breaks down white and black heads.
I hope you enjoyed the oily skin series... Stay tuned!
