As young as we are, too often we wake up with back pain. And what do we do about it? We ignore it and hope that it goes away.
Do you know that your back is one of the most important muscles in your body? It carries the weight of your head and breasts. You may be thinking that is not that big of a deal at first, but do you know that your head weighs between 4.5 to 6.3 kilograms? Do you also know that breasts weigh between 0.22 and 0.9 kilograms?
What I'm trying to say here is that our backs are under a lot of stress, and we are not making it any better by being couch potatoes during this quarantine. Not only are we on our phones all day and night, but we also forget to sit and sleep correctly.
With a weak back, our upper backs are slouching and we have a higher chance of getting digestive problems, joint degeneration, and a pot belly!
In this article, I'm going to share with you a few back workouts that I do. And I got to say, after consistently working on your back, you are going to feel more confident, less stressed, and even burn more calories!
Corner Scapular Shrug
This exercise targets your trapezius, rhomboids, and posterior deltoid.
- Slow Reps.
- Train on alternate days.
- Fix your posture by sitting straight.
- And most importantly, always listen to your body!
