Toned Legs

Toned legs. We want them! We try to get inspired by scrolling through Instagram and watching endless videos on Youtube. 

We look at those pics on Instagram and we feel like achieving that goal is very unrealistic. 

We try to follow up with some of the leg workouts on Youtube and we feel overwhelmed and completely sore the next day. 

I remember the days when I trained hard on day 1 and took 6 days off because my legs were so sore! That made me lose all the progress I made on that day and I felt very demotivated to even try again. 

So what is the answer? Is there a solution that will give us toned legs and not make us feel completely sore to the point of giving up at the same time? 

In this article, I am going to share with you my personal experience. I hope it can help you enjoy working out your legs consistently. And help you gain the reward of having those toned legs you always wanted. 

So back to that question I just asked: what is the best solution for fit legs without the overwhelming, complex exercises that make us feel weak and sore the next day? My answer based on my personal experience is simplicity! 

Here are the exercises that I personally do:

Sumo Squats

This exercise focuses mainly on your quads. 

Single-leg Romanian Deadlift 

This is one of the best exercises for your hamstrings.

Elevated Calf Raises

Remember!
  • Form is more important than total number of reps.
  • Do the exercise SLOWLY in order to gain the most benefit out of each rep.
  • Do the exercise on alternate days.
  • Listen to your body!
